How can I connect to my remote desktop?
In order to connect to a remote desktop (SafeOffice) on a Mac, you need:
To create a VPN SSL, we use the program Forticlient. Download and install on your Mac.
* If the installation of this program has been blocked, you must go to the Apple Icon -> System Settings -> Protection and Security, click on the lock and then allow the installation of this program, as in the screenshot.
Next, run the program and go to the "Remote Access". Click on the gear on the right, then on "Add a new connection".
Next, you need to configure the connection:
- Connection Name: Any.
- Description: Can be left blank
- Remote Gateway: vpn.swissinfocloud.ch
Click "Add".
And connect using your username and password.
Encrypted secure channel created.
To connect to your remote desktop in SwissInfoCloud on Mac (OSX), download and install Microsoft Remote Desktop app.
After installing run the application.
Click on "Add desktop".
- PC name: (get from manager)
then click "Save".
At this step, make sure that you have connected the VPN.
Next you need to go to the created connection
Enter the login and password.
